Tom
and Sally met in 2005 and discovered a mutual passion for yoga. They
each have a rich and varied experience in Yoga having studied and practiced for
over 30 years each and both are 500 E-RYT (experienced registered yoga teachers)
through yoga alliance (the national
governing board of yoga certifications). We believe there is a yoga
practice for everyone, young, old, fit, or limited ability, and teach classes and
workshops for various populations including chair yoga, yin yoga, power
yoga, gentle yoga and beginner, intermediate, and advanced.

Thomas Beall is a
E-500 RYT hr Certified Kripalu
Yoga Teacher who lives and teaches in Tucson, Arizona. He began practicing yoga
in the early 1970's and has continued his personal exploration over four
decades. Tom is a lifelong practitioner of yoga of all varieties including the
study of Kundalini, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Kripalu, Anusara, Yin and other
approaches. Currently he teaches classes at the Tucson Racquet and
Fitness Club, Yoga Flow, Body Works, U of A Fitness Center, and
Pima College. Tom is known for giving clear and precise instruction and
inspiring students to excel in their practice. He has three audio CD's of yoga
instruction available for sale, 'Gentle', 'Moderate' and 'Vigorous Kripalu
Yoga' and 'Yoga for Strong, Healthy Backs'. With Sally Weber he has developed a partner yoga program for couples.
Sally Weber,
BSBA, PYT, E-RYT-500, has been practicing yoga for over 30 years. She
came to Tucson after evacuating from Hurricane Katrina with her family, leaving
behind a yoga studio in Bay St Louis, Mississippi. She received her yoga
teaching certification through Integrative Yoga Therapy (www.iytyogatherapy.com)
in 2001 and Profession Yoga Therapist (PYT) certification in 2003. Sally is
currently a mentor for these programs. She published articles in WWN
Connections (Holistic Wellness Network) on "Yoga and Diabetes" and in the
Arizona Yoga Association newsletter on "Evacuating from Katrina, An Extreme
Practice in Yoga from the Lens of the Five Koshas." She is on the Board of
Directors for the Arizona Yoga Association (www.azyoga.com).
She has co-developed partner yoga workshops in Tucson with Tom Beall.
Sally is currently a yoga instructor at Canyon Ranch teaching all levels of
yoga, chair yoga, yoga for a healthy back, breathing, meditation, and private
sessions incorporating Integrative Yoga Therapy techniques. |
